The Marietta median home price is also higher than the median home price in Atlanta, which is currently at $375,500, and the median home price in the entire state of Georgia, currently at $362,600.

In addition, home appreciation values in Marietta have seen a 16.6% increase over one year. This is higher than the national average, which is only 8.27%. Taking into account home values in the last ten years, home appreciation in Marietta has increased by 167% over that time. And the upward trend is expected to continue in 2024. Population growth

Marietta’s population is steadily growing. With a population density of 2,451 people per square mile, it’s currently the 626th largest city in the U.S. According to the most recent U.S. Census data, the current population of Marietta is 62,602. In 2020, the population was 60,972, marking a more than 2.5% increase. Compared to 2010, when the population was 56,579, the city has grown exponentially. This upward population trend is expected to continue as the overall population in Atlanta grows.
